ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
The purpose of this course is to provide English language and literacy instruction for English language learner adults whose first language is other than English and who are non-literate or semi-literate in their home language, in order to increase their ability to communicate in English. The content is compatible with principles of literacy and language acquisition for adult learners of English and includes skills useful in the workplace, life and academic applications. Skills are integrated into reading, writing, speaking and listening formats.
